EVERY LIFE IS AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY

MY PHILOSOPHY

Yoga is not about flexibility or achieving crazy posture. It is not pushing yourself into a fancy ideal pose but it is about listening and observing your body. Yoga is not about performance. The point is the internal feeling and not about how the pose looks but how it FEELS like. Feeling the sensation and becoming more conscious of our body and our sense. In my practice, I place importance on resonating with ourselves and our surroundings. It is about embracing each feeling, from discomfort to peace of mind, and being connected to the present moment.

Everybody can do yoga, there is no ideal pose, no judgment or comparison. You practice from your heart for yourself and for nothing else. It is about letting go and being kind and patient with yourself. Yoga is for everyone, for any age, any body type, and for all types of flexibility. An invitation to be conscious of our body, the movement and sensation.

I prefer to say I am sharing my yoga and meditation knowledge rather than I am teaching it. Both practices are an endless learning process and I have learned from each student that I had the chance to practice with. I believe that we learn from each other and we rise by lifting others.

it is all about the journey…

let’s take a seat and enjoy the process.

MY STORY

I have started to practice yoga step by step (as I was not that flexible at all) and I quickly realized all the positive aspects of this practice.

Born in Switzerland, I went to live and work in Berlin for several years. At that time, Yoga was helping me to release the tension I had with my stressful job and with the busy life I was running into. After 3 years of practicing yoga, I started to meditate. Both of these practices started to shift my perspective of life and contributed to arise changes in various areas of my life. Always attracted by the ocean, I started to learn surfing and, same as yoga and meditation, this sport was for me a great revelation. Just like in the practice of yoga and meditation, you are in harmony with the surroundings, focusing on the present moment and letting go of your thoughts.

In 2019, big changes appeared in my professional and personal life. I left my job, packed my backpack, left Berlin, and went solo travelling for one year. I started in India, a country I had been dreaming of visiting for so long and felt so alive and inspired by this magical country. While looking for waves to surf and to deepen my journey in the yoga philosophy, I went to Bali, where I learned more about yoga and meditation. After several months of travelling, I went to the Philippines on the beautiful Siargao Island. The pandemic started while I was stranded on the island with some other tourists. During this strange time, I realized, even more, the beautiful and strong impact that yoga and meditation can have on our state of mind and how it can help to deal with life's challenges.

My travel experience, the unique adventure of being stranded on an island during a worldwide pandemic, and all the beautiful people and variety of cultures I discovered, helped me to connect even more to the beauty of the yoga and meditation practice.

Passionate about those ancestral practices and their endless philosophy, it is an endless journey. Yoga is much more than just a physical practice; it goes beyond the mat…
